How to Have Firm, Perky Breasts

Sagging breasts got you down? Beautiful breasts are not just about size. Most women want to enjoy firm, perky breasts, but over the years, aging, weight loss and pregnancy can really take a toll on the bosom. Although perky breasts might seem like the exclusive property of 18-year-old girls who wear an A cup, there are ways to get firm and perky breasts, regardless of your age or bra size.

Hydrotherapy for Firm Breasts

Hydrotherapy uses water to promote health and wellness in the body. A common hydrotherapy practice is to alternate between hot and cold water in a shower. This can increase circulation to the skin by as much as 95%. So how does that help your breasts? Since increased circulation stimulates the production of collagen and elastic - the skin proteins responsible for tone and elasticity - the result is firmer skin and perkier breasts.

The next time you're in the shower, spend a few minutes toning your breasts. Simply rinse your breasts with warm water for 30 seconds and then switch to the coldest water you can stand for 10 seconds. Continue alternating between warm and cold water for several minutes.

The cold water application must be for a shorter duration than the hot. It is also important to end the treatment with cold water. Do not apply water that is hot enough to burn. The hot application should be pleasantly warm.

Exercise for Perky Breasts

The most effective exercises for bust enhancement are those that work your chest muscles. Since the breasts themselves contain no muscles, exercise will not increase breast size. However, toning the pectoral muscles underlying the breasts helps to perk up the breasts by lifting them. Regardless of how old you are, these exercises will keep your breasts uplifted, perky, and sexy

Push-Up
Lie on your stomach on the floor with your hands under you shoulders. Hold your feet shoulder width apart, with your toes tucked under so that you are balancing on the balls of your feet. Contract your abdominals so that your back is parallel to the floor. Hold your head and neck at level with your spine. Inhale as you lower your chest as close to the floor as possible. Exhale when you return to the starting position. If you are not strong enough to do plank push-ups, do them from your knees. When you reach the maximum repetitions from your knees, advance to your toes.

Chest Press
Lie flat on your back on a bench, a balance ball, or the floor. Take a dumbbell in each hand, palms facing forward. Bend your elbows at the angle of 90º, and hold them out to the sides parallel with your shoulders. Exhale as you stretch your arms toward the ceiling with knuckles facing up. Do not touch the weights together, and do not squeeze your chest at the top of the motion. Inhale as you return to the starting position.

Incline Chest Press
Lie on your back on an incline bench. Take a dumbbell in each hand, palms facing forward. Bend your elbows at the angle of 90º, and hold them out to the sides parallel with shoulders. Exhale as you stretch your arms toward the ceiling with knuckles facing up. Do not touch the weights together, and do not squeeze your chest at the top of the motion. Inhale as you return to the starting position.

Chest Fly
Lie on your back with a dumbbell in each hand. Your arms should be straight and level with your shoulders. Lift both dumbbells at the same time with the palms facing each other until they come together above your chest.

Perform this bust improvement exercise routine three times weekly with 48-72 hours between each exerrcise session. For each exercise, perform 1-3 sets of 8-12 repetitions each. When you reach 3 sets of 12 repetitions of an exercise, increase the resistance, not the repetitions. For the chest presses and chest fly, increase the weight of the dumbbell. For the push-ups, elevate the feet on a bench or chair if you can do 3 sets of 12 repetitions on your toes.

Do at least three of the four exercises in each session. If you don't have access to an incline weight bench, you won't be able to do the incline chess press, so you would do the other three every session. If you do have an incline weight bench, you could just do two of the three pressing exercises each session if you prefer, but do the chest fly every session.

Women want to have firm, sexy, perky breasts for a reason. Not only do women feel much better about themselves if they have great-looking cleavage, but they also appear to be more popular among men. hii
read your blog. thanks a million ton for your tips. i m 21. my breasts are undersize and i have started working on my breasts with your suggested massage. i am patient enough for results... however i do have another problem. i have hair growth on and around nipples. is it normal?? i surfed internet and found out that it indicates high levels of testosterone. also i do have hair in lower abdomen, have acne, breasts are undersize and do get angry soon. as the articles on internet say, these are all the symptoms of high levels of testosterone which is dangerous... i m worried. plz suggest me some natural remedy to decrease the levels & get rid of these embarrassing outcomes.
another issue is that my breasts are very far apart. there remains more than an inch gap between breasts even after i wear a bra. consequently i dont have a cleavage line. it is very humiliating in front of friends. is there any way i can get a better shape and a cleavage line???

Read my articles about breast enlargement herbs, which raise estrogen. They msy relieve your symptoms, and you should be using them anyway if you want to increase your breast size.

The placement of your breasts on your chest is already over and done with. However, if they increase in size, they won't look so far apart.

It's a little safer not to do either. Not touching the weights forces you to move them in a controlled manner, and not squeezing your chest prevents cramping.

I just accidentally came a cross your blog. My beautiful wife has been wanting bigger breasts. After two kids they have decreased and sag a little. She wants implants, but the anastesia somehow effects her heart really bad. So that is not an option. I tell her that her breasts are perfect though it doesn't help how she feels. Sometimes I will go on line, and see if I can find something to do naturally. This blog by far has really made me see that there is still a chance that she could get her wish. The bad thing is she us very impatient. Any suggestions.

Hi Caitlin,

Do you know of any ways to firm up your breasts and not enlarge them? Or, in my case, make sure they stay firm as I lose weight? Right now I'm a 34H but I'm trying to get down from 34% body fat to about 20% and I'm afraid of ending up with sagging. One product I'm thinking of taking is called "ligament restore" and helps support, well, ligaments. As I understand these are what give your breasts much of their support - along with the fat. Is this enough, or is there anything else you'd recommend? Thanks :-D Great blog btw.

I used to be a chubby lass weighting 18 stone with size G bust I now weigh 11stone n my boobs have hit the ground! They are so bad and it's just skin I believe my breast size now around a DD ish not sure but that bra seems to do a good job! But I really wanna get my breast better they get me down a lot! Hi, I have been doing massages and I was wondering: if I have unbalanced hormones, but am on the pill (so I can't take fenugreek) or anything like that, will massage still help them grow? I am trying to increase up a cup or two.
I think I have a lot of extra testosterone.

I'm only fifteen and my breasts are saggy from weight loss. I feel terrible about how they look and it seems like nothing i'm doing is helping (i use a firming cream and i exercise regularly). How soon will this work and how effective is it? Also, if my breasts grow will they look perkier? If they get perkier will they look less far apart?
I've also been told that because i'm young my skin will bounce back and be tight again but it's been almost two years after the weight loss (60 lbs) and almost nothing has happened.

Be sure that you're doing what this article says to do, not just some random exercises, although you can do those too. Your skin will bounce back because of your age. It bounces back when you're quite a bit older too BTW. They might look less far apart, but they might not. Either way, they'll look better.

How can I add fennel seeds to my lotion? Can I just crush them up and mix them with a little bit of lotion?
Also is there a certain kind of lotion to avoid or use?

I'm doing the massages ...can't really afford to get the fenugreek stuff..but I do have a bag of fennel seeds....I'm going to try to make tea with them but I read it's more effective if you massage it directly into your breasts.
I can't seem to find any info on how to take the seeds and combine them with lotion though.

Firming your breasts is the only way to help sagging. Try doing more breast massage on the smaller breast to help even their sizes/

Thank you so so much for providing this gift of knowledge! You are wonderful!!! So, my areolae appear really "puffy," so that they look swollen compared to the breasts and nipples. Because of this, my nipples usually don't show at all. This problem is solved when I am cold or my nipples get hard or "nip" for whatever reason. The problem is worst when it is hot outside. Is there any way I can get my nipples to stand tall more frequently and stop the areolae from looking so puffy and enlarged?

You're sort of asking how to keep your nipples hard all the time or more frequently. The appearance of your areolae is just how your breasts are. I don't know of any way to change that.

Do as many as you can with good form. Touch your chest to the floor and come all the way up on each repetition. Good form and full range of motion are more important than a specific number.

Question.....once you reach your desired size....can you stop doing the massages or do you have to keep doing them. Because I noticed that when I stopped for a little bit they went back to their normal size.

You can always overdo exercise, I suppose, but otherwise, no.

I think you need to maintain your new size for about a year before it's more or less permanent. Once you reach the desired size, you can cut back to the minimums.

Hi Caitlin, I DID read the full article and all the comments and replies about them...but I am 13yrs old with a size of 38C. I really hate my breast. My boyfriend seems fine with how I am, but I feel uncomfortable when I run or jump. I've even heard people i don't even know tell me that my breast are saggy! Is there any way to reduce the size of my breast a quicker way and make them firm without massages, workouts, or any of that stuff? Like is there a FASTER and EASIER way to do this for me? And I have asma, would it be bad to do this?

Hi there Caitlin. My issue is in the last year I have lost 70lbs. My breasts are saggy and with stretch marks. I have gone from a size I to a size C. I have been trying hydro water therapy trick and messaging and I feel it is working. It is the stretch marks I am embarrassed about. I will try the lavender oil but I also have access sink. Hi, I'm 36 and while sagging is not a huge issue, I recently switched birth control method that made one breast grow a half cup size. So one is now bigger and perkier than the other. I think I'll try massage and exercise on one breast. Do you know if that will be effective for evening things out? Or should I try doing the same for both but 2x as much on the smaller side?

Curry is a spice duh. And works amazing!!... even more so in conjunction with fengreek seed... applied in almost every meal... I excersized and used only curry about a bottle of spice a week and WOW... I seen HUGE differences...

Stress is a no no/ get ur sleep/ excersize and eat regularly..... and what I did 2 what Caitlin is telling us 2 do.... WOW... I have yet 2 see... and I Will do B4 an after.... I can't wait!! I am sure I will see much more vast difference.
Patience is needed like Caitlin says cus even in my muscle building it takes being faithful for it 2 last... and even then requires upkeep... maybe less often but definitley our bodies require upkeep. Whatever u do don't stress/get ur sleep/and eat don't ever starve urself. Don't be around screaming negative people it feels as though there noise vibrations eat at my cells and lessen them to where there is no boobies!! Hah... not funny.

Thank you for the wonderful advice Caitlin. I already knew of the exercises and also an isometric one, the massaging and hydro are new concepts to me. I am a 40 year old mother of 4 (3 of which were breast fed) with 36DD and a small waist and hips. For 12 years I was a tile setter and I had beautiful perky breasts and toned arms, abs, and back from spreading thin set and grouting every day. I stopped working in that field about 5 years ago and the last 3 years I have been losing the fight on keeping my pretty breasts. Mostly due to insperation on exercising. I look forward to trying the rest of your ideas also to see if I can "stick" with those.

But I have another concern that I hope you can helpl me too, after breastfeeding (I weaned 2 1/2 years ago) I have saggy nipples!!! This is terrible!! Is there any natural solution I can try??? on anonymous man who wants to hve breast enlargement..this may not be a natural way but popping hormonal pills usually does the work..it increases ur estrogen level..a female hormone the reason for breast enlargement/development in a woman..and decreasing your male hormone..making hair in ur arms and legs grow thin and fine not lyk those what guys have..i hv a friend who did this stuff s/he now looks like a woman with the excption of his 'dongs' because s/he stil has it..but i stil suggest u consult first a doctor before trying this..because i think its kinda dangerous..

Hi I started the hydro therapy today as well as the massaging. I want to start the supplements tomorrow and was curious if I plan on using fenugreek extract & wild yam for massaging then should I take fenugreek supplements orally or take saw palmetto? Thank you for the useful information. I will definitely do the exercises and hydrotherapy you mention for breast firmness as I have recently lost body fat and my breasts are less firm. I am 40 and my breast size has decreased from a 32 G to a 32 F cup. I have always wanted to have smaller boobs but of course I would still love them to be firm! I was wondering about the breast massage - ideally my breasts would be either the same size and firmer or both a little smaller and firmer but logic tells me that increasing their size would be the main way to increase firmness. Would you recommend the breast massage for increasing or decreasing breast size for me (assuming that such things are possible when you are 40!), alongside the exercise and water?

Hi Caitlin! I have been massaging my breasts the way you instructed in your articles for about 5 months. At first I applied just fenugreek extract topically prior to my massages and then introduced saw palmetto extract about 2 months ago, so I have been applying them both before I massage. I average about 200 circulations twice a day and follow up with a heating pad for 10min. Also of note, I only apply the extracts at night due to them being very strong in scent and even then will skip a few nights a week. I have noticed a slight enlargement of my breasts, if any, but am wondering if you have any advice as to what else I can do. I tried to take fenugreek capsules by mouth in the beginning, but they made me break out in horrible cystic acne so I stopped. Thanks for any extra help and thank you for all of your work! :)

However, I was concerned about my breasts sagging, I am only in my twenties and really don't want them to stay this way. I have never really wore sports bras when exercising (I have changed that just recently) and I guess fluctuations in weight have affected the firmness/perkiness. I guess what I'm asking is...will they go back to the way they were if i follow these exercises, or is this damage permanent?

If you take breast-enhancement herbs/tea/oils, and it increases the estrogen-level in your body, wouldn't that increase the risk of getting breast cancer? (Because high estrogen-levels do so).

The reason I am asking is because I am afraid of increasing my risk for getting breast cancer, as it runs in the family.

Cancer is a little more complicated than than, and so are natural breast enlargement herbs. Raising estrogen is not all they do. Cancer also takes years to develop. However, if you think you are at high risk, make your decision accordingly.

Some women feel uncomfortable massaging their own breasts; do you have any suggestion for that? By extension, they mostly feel uncomfortable getting others to do for them too, obviously.

My breast are more than one inch apart. All my fat tissue is at the bottom of my boob as if they are sagging but i have no strech marks. A capsule equals about half a teaspoon. Fenugreek is widely used as a spice in cooking and as a medicinal herb, but anything can affect somebody negatively. Both consuming and massaging fenugreek are effective. It depends on which you prefer.

Hi Caitlin......came across your article while searching on how to make breasts perky again. Thanks for the information I think I will try a few of them......I do have one problem that even though while searching on the net for I can never seem to find a satisfactory answer. Do you know of any good websites for reasonable priced ranged pretty colored bras for DD women? I am a double dd and the only colors I find are tan white or black and tan is hard even to get. Only place I can get bras my size are at Wal-Mart otherwise then I have to drive about 50 miles to get to Victoria's secret. Problem is Victoria's secret is a little bit over priced to get a good supportive bra while wal mart does occasionally carry my size but even when they do I can only get about one or two bras of the three colors mentioned above and they cheaply made the they wear out fast and dont have the support I need. So its but a bra for forty bucks (and thats usually as cheap as I can get from vs) or buy unsupportable cheap bras. In the end by the time I get to buy more I have to throw out my olds ones no matter where they are from.
